Corrections & Retractions Policy

Journal policy on corrections

If authors discover any inaccuracies in their published work, they should let us know right away, especially if those errors potentially compromise the accuracy of the material provided or the interpretation of the data. Before requesting any changes to an article, the corresponding author is responsible for making sure that all mentioned co-authors have achieved a consensus.

Notice of correction
In cases when an error or omission needs to be corrected and the original findings or scholarly integrity of the work are unaffected, a correction notice will be sent.

Journal Policy on retractions

A retraction is a public declaration about an earlier statement that withdraws, cancels, refutes, or reverses the original statement, or ceases and desists from publishing it. The retraction may be initiated by journal editors or by the paper's author(s) (or their institution).

The editors will ask reviewers for feedback. In the event of repeated submissions, plagiarism, or fraudulent data use, the article will be retracted. A retraction is a change that alters the major point of the original statement, whereas a correction is an alteration that keeps the main point of the statement unchanged. Depending on the situation, either a retraction or correction is appropriate.
